A bearded man in orange-red robes wears a long garland of marigolds and orange flowers over his shoulders and walks barefoot along a narrow straw mat path, holding hands with a younger man in orange cloth who wears a beaded rudraksha-style mala. Behind them, several people in white and orange-saffron clothing stand or walk near the fence, and a woman in a green sari is visible. Bare branches and a barbed-wire topped wall frame the scene, with pink flowers placed on the wall.2017-02-03February 03 20172017-02-03February 03 20172017-02-03Outdoor ritual scene at an ashram garden path. Behind him on the left, a man in white dhoti and white shirt tends a small fire on a low metal stand, flames and smoke rising. On the left edge, a man in orange robe wears a sacred thread and stands near the fire. On the right, a man in orange robe holds a tray of offerings or ash. A white-clad helper stands behind the centre figure. Green trees, shrubs, a white wall and a fenced garden surround the setting.2009-06-15Night-time photograph of a group walking across a sandy, stone-strewn ground beside a leafy tree. In the centre, a woman with long dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange draped garment, a heavy gold necklace of beads and a pendant, and a dark bindi, walks with a wooden cane. Beside her, a bearded man in saffron robes and a red-bordered cloth walks with glasses. Behind them, a man in saffron with an orange shawl and a younger man in white with an orange sash follow. On the left, an older man in white dhoti with a yellow shawl and a mala stands near a small child in pink, and a man in a blue striped shirt holds an orange cloth at the right edge.2008-12-11December 18 20112011-12-18 +1 copiesApril 02 20122012-04-02July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a group of saffron-robed monks walking barefoot along a paved path of stepping stones through dry, sandy ground and trees.
