He leans on a wooden staff in his right hand and wears a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a man in a reddish-orange robe with a red border walks alongside, and a few more people in white and orange-yellow shawls follow along the path beside a large tree trunk. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, saffron robe, rudraksha mala) is the leading figure in the saffron robe with the staff, walking in a girivalam pilgrimage on a forest path.2008-01-03Outdoor photo under large shade trees on a dirt path. A man with long dark hair, a red bindi and a sleeveless orange saffron robe wears a multicoloured flower garland and a rudraksha mala, walking while looking to his left. Behind him a man in white dhoti and orange shawl carries a camera. At right, a person in white clothes with an orange shawl holds a gold trident staff. a person is visible in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, long swept-back hair and a floral garland, walking in procession.2007-12-24A barefoot man with long, swept-back dark hair walks along a blue-edged white mat laid over dusty ground beside stepping stones, under green trees. He wears an orange saffron-style dhoti and upper cloth with gold border, multiple pink and white flower garlands, a gold necklace with ornate gold beads, rudraksha bracelets on his arms and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a bald older man in orange robes and a flower garland, with a rudraksha mala and gold necklace, follows on the mat. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, ornate gold necklace, orange clothing and rudraksha cues are consistent with the page's identification of a walking ceremonial figure.2012-04-27 +1 copiesPhoto 11731160 +1 copies
