A photograph of homa preparation at dawn in an open dirt yard. In the foreground, a man in white dhoti and an orange shawl stands at the edge of a concrete-rimmed fire pit, holding a long wooden stick, with a plate of white cloths beside him. Wooden logs and planks are stacked near the pit, and a stack of pale blocks sits in the middle distance. Another person in orange kneels partly visible at the bottom of the frame by the pit.
