January 15 20132013-01-15January 20 20132013-01-20A seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing orange-saffron robes with a red-and-white trim, a long rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, with long swept-back hair, gestures calmly while speaking into a microphone on a small table with a bowl of red fruit. Around him, a group of devotees sit on the floor with palms pressed together in anjali mudra; women wear yellow and cream saris and men wear white. In front of them are brass plates with flowers, a lit oil lamp and small offerings. Probable Swamiji (in-person candidate: long hair, saffron robes, rudraksha mala, seated on a gilded throne). A man in orange also sits to the left, holding a microphone. Blue and maroon curtains frame the stage.2011-01-22January 15 20132013-01-15March 22 20132013-03-22May 16 20132013-05-16January 15 20132013-01-15April 14 20122012-04-14A man seated on an ornate gold and red throne wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his body, a rudraksha-style bead necklace, a floral garland on his head and gold arm bands. Before him, seated women and a man in white clothes sit around a gold tray holding small brass dishes, flowers and a lit oil lamp, with hands joined in namaskar. A man in white and an orange cloth sits behind them, and a white tower fan and studio light stand in a dark hall with gold framed decor and a painted deity panel at right. Visible ritual setting: padapuja-style devotional offering, with an oil lamp and lamps on the gold tray.2012-05-01A seated man in orange and saffron robes with a red-orange rudraksha-style mala and gold beaded necklace sits on an ornate gold throne carved with lion or tiger motifs, with a tiger-striped cloth draped on the seat. He is the probable Swamiji by appearance cues (long swept-back hair, saffron robes, ceremonial gold necklace) and is being honoured with padapuja. Three kneeling devotees in white garments and orange lanyards offer flowers and rice to his bare feet from brass plates holding red flowers and petals. Hanging brass bells, brass oil lamps and a wall-mounted air conditioner appear in the background, with a black draped backdrop. Two people in the foreground are partly visible at the lower edge.2013-05-19September 08 20122012-09-08January 15 20132013-01-15 +1 copies
