The seated figure wears saffron-orange robes, a long gold necklace and has long dark hair, with a hand resting on the throne. A man in orange robes stands at left beside a folding fan, and another man in orange sits near the back. The throne is decorated with white and orange flower garlands, a floral-patterned backdrop and a red cloth on the floor. Appearance-based label: a person, seated on the throne as the one being honoured.2008-07-17February 10 20122012-02-10Photo 11730921June 15 20092009-06-15Photo 11688617 +2 copiesA seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head armrests and a red canopy, hands pressed together in namaste with eyes closed. Several devotees in white clothes kneel on red and patterned mats around him, holding brass plates with fruit, a coconut, banana, flowers and a dish of food, performing a padapuja-style offering. A woman in a white dress with a yellow shawl sits at right with hands joined. Brass bowls of kumkum and offerings sit on the floor, a fan stands at left, and pillar-patterned pink backdrop banners frame the tent.2009-12-03A padapuja ceremony in a room with a red draped backdrop. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron shawl over an orange garment and multiple rudraksha malas, sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with his bare feet resting on a gold footstool. Several devotees kneel on a red patterned carpet before him with palms pressed together in prayer; one older man in orange shawl holds flower petals, a woman in orange holds a plate, and younger men in white kurtas with orange shawls kneel nearby. Gold trays of flowers and fruit sit on a round gold table in front. A pedestal fan and a speaker stand in the background. The figure on the throne appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on his long hair, orange clothing and rudraksha malas.2012-07-18
