A photograph inside a temple shrine. A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti with an orange-bordered cloth stands with his back to the camera, raising an oil lamp with a flame in his right hand toward a richly decorated central shrine. Two deity murtis stand in an arched niche before red drapes: the figure on the left has an orange crown, orange dhoti and gold necklaces, and holds a trident-like staff; the figure on the right wears a gold crown, yellow garment and red floral garlands. A Shivalinga draped in pink and magenta flower garlands sits in front of them, with a silver kalasha and brass lamps on the sides. Carved stone pillars and a golden arch frame the scene.

Photograph of a pradosha puja at an outdoor temple shrine under a stone pavilion. A bald man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a white tilak on his forehead, pours water over a black shivalinga on a dark granite pedestal. Beside him, a man in white dhoti and shirt holds a brass plate. Behind them stands a large gilded murti of Shiva and Parvati seated together, with a white-smeared face and red lips, Shiva holding a trident-like implement. Small gold shrine models and a gold deity figure sit on a tray at the base, and white flower petals float on the wet stone floor. Green trees and a red curtain frame the background.

A photograph inside a golden-trimmed temple shrine. A priest in white dhoti and shawl, with bare upper body, stands at left holding a round brass plate or tray near the altar. Behind him, large deity murti figures stand in a gilded arched niche against a red curtain; one is painted in red and gold with a crown and trident-like staff, the other has a tall crown and teal skirt. Garlands of white and red flowers hang on the figures and a Shiva lingam with a bilva-style garland sits on a decorated yoni base. In front, a red-robed seated figure with a red turban and garlands sits on a red and gold cloth before offerings and brass oil lamps. Another red-robed figure in a green-curtained niche at right wears a red turban and garlands. Tall brass lamp stands flank the scene.

A bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti and orange shawl stands at left, his right hand extended toward the central altar where a gold-framed image is adorned with garlands and a jewelled necklace. Behind him, a figure in a turban and gold garments stands near the shrine, and a standing figure in red and gold holds a palm raised in greeting at the right. Brass oil lamps stand on the floor and a yellow cloth hangs at the upper right. A small deity image with flowers rests on the lower altar. Strings of small lights hang from the ceiling.

Temple ritual photograph at a shrine with a stone canopy and golden arch behind a dressed deity murti pair with red and orange draping. Two priests in ritual dress perform worship at a golden-framed altar: the left priest in white dhoti with an orange cloth wrap offers flowers and garlands to an idol, while the right priest in saffron-orange robes and bare upper body, with a bracelet, holds up a plate and offering. Garlands of white and yellow flowers adorn the murti. Brass lamps stand on either side, a small fire burns in a pit in front with offerings, and trays of fruit, bananas and sweets sit on the floor mat.
