Several uniformed police officers in khaki and dark caps stand watch, one holding up a smartphone to photograph, another filming with a phone. Behind them, saddhus in saffron and orange robes raise folded hands or hold up arms, some with orange and red turbans. A decorated white and red ratha or palanquin with flower garlands of white, red, yellow and blue blossoms stands at the right edge, and a green canopy shades part of the upper left.2016-05-09January 08 20102010-01-08February 16 20092009-02-16Outdoor gathering in front of a red and yellow draped backdrop with gold flower motifs. In the foreground, several men in saffron-orange robes sit on chairs: a bald man with a red tilak mark sits centre-left, next to another bald man in orange, and a man in an orange turban and orange shawl sits on the right with hands clasped. Behind them stand men in white kurtas, one with an orange shawl and mala, and uniformed police officers stand in the background. Audience members, many women in saris, fill the seats and background, with a red vehicle visible behind. No candidate is confidently identifiable as a person from appearance cues alone, so the figures are described by role.2007-02-19February 15 20132013-02-15April 22 20162016-04-22
