It stands in a gold-framed arched niche with a mirror backdrop, on a gilded base with a lion-like carved pedestal. Strings of white flower garlands hang across the background. To the right, another deity figure in a red and gold dress with yellow flower garland sits on a multi-tiered pedestal with carved animals. Potted plants and a tall painted pillar appear at the left. No people are visible.2015-01-03A night procession image of an ornate golden ratha-style shrine framed by gilded carved arches and makara-like finials. Inside the shrine stands a life-size figure of a standing deity murti with a saffron-orange turban, adorned with a multicoloured jewelled necklace and a golden body ornament, the hands raised in blessing. The niche is decorated with red and white flower garlands and green leafy foliage, with a red cloth backdrop. Below, a golden base draped with an orange-gold silk cloth holds two small lit lamps on stands. The background is dark. No physical people are visible. The figure is a statue, so the a person field is depiction only if an appearance-based candidate is present; here it is a murti, so none.2017-02-09December 31 20182018-12-31 +1 copiesFebruary 09 20172017-02-09Night procession photograph of a richly decorated processional palanquin under a gilded arched canopy with gold ornamental finials. Two deity murtis stand on the palanquin dressed in embellished brown-gold garments studded with white and coloured stones; the central figure wears a crown and a large necklace. Red and white flower garlands hang across the figures and the canopy edges, and a gold cloth drapes the base. The black background and lights suggest a nighttime ratha or palanquin procession.
