A gilded deity murti stands on a golden lion mount before an ornate gold-leaf arched backdrop with red drapery. The figure wears a jeweled crown, layered gold necklaces, and red and white garlands, and holds a staff and a small round object. The lion vahana is covered in gold with its paw raised, and a yellow silk cloth drapes the platform. Yellow marigold garlands surround the base, with a brass oil lamp at right, a metal pot, and flower offerings in brass bowls at the bottom. The scene is a temple shrine at night.2015-11-13November 13 20152015-11-13November 13 20152015-11-13A photograph of a decorated deity murti standing in a gilded arched shrine (kovil) with a red velvet backdrop.
