In the foreground a man in white shirt and trousers with dark-rimmed glasses carries a pink-and-white garland. To his right a figure in a flowing orange-saffron robe with a beaded necklace and long dark hair walks forward, a probable Swamiji by appearance. Behind them an older man in white dhoti and shawl carries a rudraksha mala, another man in white holds a large green-and-yellow flower garland, and a seated woman in orange sari sits at the right with a few onlookers nearby. Overcast sky and overhead wires frame the scene.2006-12-04Photograph of a temple gateway with a tiled roof, carved stone sculptures on its upper ledges, and a red signboard reading Sri Thirukkamiswarar Devasthanam. Two tall vertical banners flank the entrance, each showing a standing figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala, hands folded, against a green backdrop, with Tamil slogans beneath.
