A photograph of a large banyan tree with massive spreading horizontal limbs and hanging aerial roots, set in a sandy-floored enclosure with low concrete curbs. A young man stands centre-frame in white ritual clothing, a white dhoti and white kurta with a dark cord around his neck, his hands joined in front of him. Behind him a figure in white bends forward under the branch in a yoga-style stretch. Two more people in white stand at the left, one partly hidden by the aerial roots. No identifiable a person depiction is evident from appearance.

A large ancient banyan tree with thick aerial roots and spreading branches dominates an outdoor site with bare red-brown earth. Two men in white dhoti and white upper cloth, with saffron-yellow borders, stand at the base of the trunk; one bends forward near the roots while the other stands with hands folded in prayer. A small figure in white stands further right near a railing. Concrete edging, a metal pipe and low walls surround the tree.

A bald, bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a red border stands with palms pressed together against a tree trunk on the right, wearing a rudraksha mala and forehead markings. Beside him, another man in white clothing stands with hands folded in prayer on a paved platform with glass-like slabs. A third man in white stands at left, partly cropped. Seated against a low wall in the background is a figure in saffron-orange robes with a shaved head. The setting appears to be a sacred tree courtyard with a red structure visible behind the foliage.
