A white jasmine garland drapes down the pot's side, and grass stalks rise from the top. Behind it, blurred figures in orange and saffron robes sit near a gold-toned backdrop, with yellow and white marigold garlands and flower offerings in the foreground. No faces are clearly visible, so no person can be identified.2013-12-25Foreground view of ritual offerings arranged on a pink cloth: several decorated kalasha-style pots wrapped in striped patterned bands, each topped with coconut halves and draped with yellow marigold garlands and red roses, with green leaves and wheat or grass stalks. A straw broom rests at lower left. In the background, several people sit in an ashram or temple hall; a man on the right with a purple head-wrap, bare upper body and beaded necklaces, and a few figures in orange and saffron clothing, one wearing a rudraksha-style mala. Their faces are partly out of focus.2018-04-14January 11 20172017-01-11July 21 20102010-07-21January 15 20162016-01-15A close photograph of a bare-chested man in orange ritual dress holding a golden plate filled with yellow, pink and red flower petals and a gold ceremonial vessel with a curved spout. He wears a rudraksha mala, an orange shawl wrapped over his shoulder, a thin silver chain and a gold bangle. A blurred figure in orange robes stands behind him against a reddish wall.2017-01-11A photograph of a ritual offering set on a low wooden platform on a colourful striped cloth. A rounded brown gourd or coconut-like object is adorned with a crown of yellow marigolds and green leaves, with red petals at the top, and a red kumkum mark on its face. Beneath it hangs a layered bead-and-gold ornament resembling a necklace or garland. In the background, people in orange, green and white clothing stand partially visible, and a wicker basket sits at the left edge.2016-09-15
