December 25 20062006-12-25Outdoor photo of a row of men standing with palms pressed together in anjali mudra at chest height, apparently in prayer or meditation. Most wear plain white shirts and white dhotis or trousers; one elderly man in front has a vertical tilak mark on his forehead and a rudraksha-style neck cord with a badge. A younger man in a black hooded sweatshirt and glasses stands at right. Behind them stand rows of pale carved stone sculptures and green trees. No visible figure wearing saffron, long swept-back hair with ornate gold necklaces, or a crown is present, so no a person candidate is identified.2011-02-20October 25 20062006-10-25A photograph of a row of men standing outdoors with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes closed or lowered, in a meditative prayer posture. Most wear white collared shirts and white dhotis or trousers; one older man has a vibhuti or ash mark on his forehead and a white dhoti with a gold border. A younger man at right wears a black hooded jacket and glasses. Behind them stand white marble or stone sculptures and trees, and a red structure is visible at the right edge. Several men are partly cut off at the frame edges. The scene suggests a guided meditation or satsang session.2011-02-20June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesOutdoor photo of a crowd seated on a stone pavement during a temple ceremony. In the centre-right, a young man with long dark hair wears an orange turban, an orange and gold garment, a green flower garland and folded hands in anjali, seated among devotees. Beside him, a man in white with an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala also sits with hands joined. On the left, a bespectacled man in white with a tilak and mala folds his hands. Many other devotees in white and orange shawls sit behind and around them, some with hands folded, and a woman in a green sari appears at the lower left. Cues for the central figure are a long swept-back hairstyle, an orange turban and ornate gold-and-orange clothing, though the appearance is not conclusive.2006-09-24September 17 20062006-09-17October 09 20062006-10-09December 17 20062006-12-17December 22 20162016-12-22 +1 copiesA photograph of a small white-walled hall with a colourful striped mat on the floor. A woman seated in front wears a bright orange sleeveless top with an orange shawl over her shoulders and her hair in a low braid, her back to the camera. Facing her, a group of men in white shirts and white dhotis stand in a semicircle; one in the centre gestures with his right hand while another in the middle with a rudraksha-style mala has his hands pressed together in namaste. An older man in a cream shirt also presses his palms together. The men's appearance is ordinary white ritual and everyday clothing; no candidate for a person is visibly identifiable from appearance, so no identification is made. Fruits sit on a plate at the right edge.2009-08-05December 30 20062006-12-30
