Devotees in white and orange clothing wade into brownish water carrying the bamboo-framed platform that supports the idol, while a bald monk in an orange robe stands in the water at centre. A red sandstone wall rises behind, and seated onlookers with colour-smeared faces and white clothes line the left bank. A man in white holds a decorative striped umbrella at the upper right. a person in saffron clothing is not clearly identified from appearance, so the orange-robed monk is described by role only.2010-10-17May 22 20062006-05-22May 22 20062006-05-22Devotees stand waist-deep in a red-stepped water tank during a ritual bath.
