Banana stalks and a multicoloured canopy surround the platform, and a yellow parasol is held above the portrait. Men in white dhotis and white shirts wade alongside, several bare-chested with rudraksha malas and saffron-yellow shawls, one carrying a brass vessel. A red sandstone wall rises behind, and seated onlookers with colour-smeared faces and white clothes line the left bank. A raised platform draped with white cloth and orange fabric carries a deity murti decorated with garlands of yellow and multicoloured flowers, beneath a colourful multi-panelled umbrella. Beside it stands a gilded framed portrait of a seated figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and garland, also garlanded. A banana plant and a brass vessel sit on the platform. Four men in white shirts and white dhotis wade in the water; two in front hold brass vessels, one wearing a yellow shawl and a rudraksha mala.
