Outdoor temple ceremony photographed in bright sunlight. In the left foreground a man in saffron-orange robe and a white flower garland holds a lit lamp or flame toward an altar, with a brass vessel and offerings on a tray. Beside him men in white dhotis and shirts stand with hands folded in prayer. Under a white fringed canopy with red trim, further devotees gather. On the right a large deity murti is draped in white cloth and garlanded with marigold and red flower strings, with a carved wooden throne-like seat in front. Orange pennants hang above stone pillars and a stone-walled courtyard. Several people are visible in the crowd behind.

A man with long dark hair and a grey-bearded face walks forward in a saffron-orange robe with a saffron shawl, bare feet, with a dark rudraksha-style mala. Two saffron-robed attendants walk behind him, one with a garland, and a man in white dhoti and shirt walks beside him with hands folded. Ornate multicoloured parasols with fringe and red-and-orange flags with dark circular emblems stand above. Strings of small yellow lights hang overhead, and a camera operator is visible at the right edge. Several people in white stand on the right.

A dirt road procession moves past a red temple structure wrapped in bamboo scaffolding, with a forested hill behind. Under a multicoloured parasol with fringed edges, a man in long dark hair and a saffron-orange robe with a crossbody sash walks at the front, flanked by younger saffron-robed attendants and white-clad men. Behind them a large saffron and yellow banner is carried, and a crowd in white dhotis, shirts and sarees follows. Puddles mark the muddy ground on the right. The man in the center wears distinctive long hair and orange clothing; he is a person candidate, shown as a walking participant. Other figures are attendants and devotees.

At the centre, a man in an orange-saffron robe with a long floral garland of white and red-green flowers stands with hands folded in front of him. Around him, men and women in white clothes, some wearing orange shawls, press close; one man in white at right wears glasses and a white shirt. A palm tree and wooden structure appear in the background.
