Many people sit in rows on colourful striped mats, most men bare-chested in white dhotis with gold-bordered cloth. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe stands barefoot, holding a small brass vessel, while nearby a man in orange robe and rudraksha mala faces the group. Several standing attendants wear orange garments and beaded necklaces, and a few devotees wear white. Orange ceremonial umbrellas or decorated poles with fringed ornaments rise behind the crowd, with a chain-link fence and trees beyond. The scene suggests a puja or ritual offering in progress.2015-05-13Outdoor ritual gathering on a striped cloth mat in a temple courtyard.
