The foot is adorned with a garland of pink roses, white flowers and gold beads wrapped around the ankle. A small gold vessel sits among the petals, and a golden surface with a silver tray is visible in the blurred background. This appears to be a padapuja, the ritual washing and honouring of a person's feet with flowers. Only a foot and ankle are visible, so the person cannot be counted or identified.2017-07-26July 26 20172017-07-26June 09 20132013-06-09August 02 20172017-08-02July 05 20172017-07-05 +3 copiesMarch 07 20132013-03-07August 15 20102010-08-15July 06 20132013-07-06A close view of a bare foot resting on a large ornate brass tray filled with red, orange and yellow marigold petals and red roses, with a small golden ornament and a white flower. The foot belongs to a person wearing a long garland of white flowers, pink lotus blooms and gold beads, and a strand of rudraksha beads wraps the ankle. Behind the tray, a golden decorative edge and a silver elephant-shaped ornament are visible, and a second silver tray with cups and offerings sits on a golden table at the upper right. Scattered petals lie on the table. This appears to be a padapuja, the ritual washing and worship of the feet, with the feet offered on a flower-filled tray.2017-06-23
