A garland of pink lotus-like flowers, white jasmine strands and gold beads is draped over the ankle. Two hands, one holding a small silver bowl, pour milk over the foot in a padapuja-style ritual offering. Gold ornate metalwork and a brass lamp appear in the background. No faces are visible, so the person being honoured cannot be determined from the image.2017-07-26Close-up of bare feet resting on a bed of red and yellow flower petals, with a silver bowl pouring white milk over the feet onto the floral arrangement. Silver trays, a silver plate with a lotus design, and a conch shell with milk sit among the petals, and a green leaf stem lies across them. The pouring suggests a foot-washing ritual, consistent with padapuja. The person's face is not visible, so no one in the scene is identified, and the number of people is one pair of feet.2013-10-19Close-up photograph of a padapuja ritual in which a bare foot is being washed.
