A pair of bare feet in the foreground, with dark skin, rests beside the tray; the wearer's orange-saffron garment is visible at upper right. Silver bowls hold fresh red apples, a bowl of shredded white vegetable with green chilli, a green leaf, pink lotus flowers, and small gold-toned kalasha-like containers. A silver spouted vessel sits among the bowls. Dark blurred shapes of onlookers appear at the left and right edges. The arrangement suggests a padapuja style offering.2010-11-09October 05 20112011-10-05February 25 20112011-02-25 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a pair of bare feet in orange robes resting on a brass tray during a padapuja-style ritual. Silver and brass bowls and plates hold white flower petals, rice-like grains and a red-and-yellow fruit. Pink lotus blooms lie at the left edge, and a silver vessel with a spout sits in the foreground. A person in orange robes reaches into a row of polished silver cups and bowls, while another hand holds a small silver vessel. Red apples, shredded white vegetable, green betel-style leaves and pink flower petals are arranged around the tray, with silver and gold ritual vessels. Only hands and orange-clad arms are visible, so people count is limited to one partially visible person. The setting suggests a puja offering with fruit and food.2010-11-09
