A pair of bare feet in the foreground, with dark skin, rests beside the tray; the wearer's orange-saffron garment is visible at upper right. Silver bowls hold fresh red apples, a bowl of shredded white vegetable with green chilli, a green leaf, pink lotus flowers, and small gold-toned kalasha-like containers. A silver spouted vessel sits among the bowls. Dark blurred shapes of onlookers appear at the left and right edges. The arrangement suggests a padapuja style offering.2010-11-09Close photograph of a padapuja, a ritual of honouring the feet.
