Crowds of mostly men and women in white clothing fill the space; many are seated on red and blue plastic chairs eating from leaf or steel plates, while others stand and move about between the rows. A two-storey orange building stands behind the tent. Shoes are scattered on the grass in the lower left, and a white plastic bag sits near the seated figures. The scene appears to be a communal meal in a temple grounds setting. No individual can be confidently identified as a person.2011-07-15A large indoor gathering under a white tented ceiling with blue side walls and hanging floral decorations. Some wear gold necklaces and bangles. Metal poles and folding chairs are visible at the edges. The crowd fills the hall to the back.2006-12-14A large outdoor crowd gathers beneath a long open tent with striped maroon, gold and blue canopy panels supported by bamboo poles. A dense crowd of several hundred people sits on the dirt ground and plastic chairs, many men in white shirts and white dhotis, women in saris and salwar. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at right, and a foreign man in a white kurta and a woman in a light blue top sit in chairs near centre. Trees and other tents with flags are visible behind. The scene looks like a public event rather than a close ceremony.2008-04-19December 15 20062006-12-15
