Night photograph of a fireworks display at a dark outdoor site, with bright white sparks and smoke rising in a tall fountain beside a dirt path. A standing man in white dhoti and white shawl, bare-chested, stands at right beside the sparks, with a second white-clad figure partially visible at far left near the ground. Trees and dark background frame the scene. The image shows a Deepavali-style fireworks scene; the figure's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm a particular identity.2010-11-05Night photograph of a Deepavali-style fireworks display on an open dirt ground. A bare-chested man in front, wearing a white dhoti with a red-bordered cloth over his shoulder and a rudraksha-style mala, lights or handles a firework with one arm extended, while sparks shoot upward in tall fountains. Smoke drifts across the frame. Several other people in white dhotis and white shirts stand in the background, some with malas, and one figure on the right wears a white robe and mala. The scene is lit only by the sparks and dim ground light against a dark sky.2010-11-05November 05 20102010-11-05Night photograph of a group of people in plain white ritual clothes standing in a smoky courtyard while setting off sparkling fireworks. Several bright sparklers spray gold sparks upward and across the dirt ground, with a bundle of sparklers held low at the right edge. A tall ornamental pillar stands at the left, and a lit building with a tiled roof lies at the right in the dark background. Some men in white dhotis and shawls stand in a row, some holding sparklers aloft, while others stand at the right edge. The scene reads as a Deepavali celebration at the Bidadi campus.2010-11-05Night photograph of a Deepavali celebration with fireworks.
