Several women stand waist-deep in brown water: one in a green sari, one in a blue dress with a blue head covering, and one in a red shawl near the right edge. A figure in a blue-and-red patterned wrap bends forward in the foreground. Behind them, wooden boats are tied along the bank, and tall bamboo poles rise from the boats carrying red, yellow, green and blue pennant flags. Dozens of people crowd the boats and shore under a hazy white sky with distant trees.April 29 20182018-04-29 +2 copies
