A photograph of an outdoor abhishekam at a stone shivalinga on a black stone base. A person in a saffron-orange robe with long swept-back hair pours water from a copper pot over the linga, water spilling down onto the base. Garlands of orange and yellow flowers hang on the right beside a pink and green cloth. A brass oil lamp stands behind the linga, and a tiled-roof building with a black board listing devotees' names is behind. Two men with folded hands in white clothing watch at the left edge.

A photograph of a temple abhishekam at the Dhyanapeetam in Bidadi. A figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a gold ceremonial necklace with a pendant leans over a black stone shivalinga on a tiered black stone base, pouring water from a silver vessel over it while water runs down the stone. Behind him two men in white dhotis and shirts stand with palms joined in prayer near a golden oil lamp and a black board listing donors. A corrugated roof, a water tank and a green-and-pink draped deity decorated with marigold garlands sit in the background.

Two men in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stand at a black stone Shiva lingam on a lotus-shaped black stone yoni pedestal, pouring water from silver vessels during abhishekam. One wears a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, the other a cord necklace. A brass oil lamp with a tall stand, flower garlands in orange and yellow, and green and pink cloth drapes sit beside the lingam. A corrugated roof and a water tank appear behind, with a small silver pyramid-shaped object in the foreground. Water runs down the pedestal.

A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead pours water from a brass kalasha over a black stone shivalinga on a stepped peetha inside a temple. He wears an orange-saffron robe and a long necklace of rudraksha beads and gold ornaments, which marks him as a probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long hair, ornate gold and rudraksha adornment, saffron clothing). Water splashes over the linga, which is the abhishekam ritual. Behind him, other saffron-clad people stand near the linga, and a figure in a red sari sits at the right. Flower garlands in red, yellow and purple hang above, and a red-and-gold silk cloth drapes the deity area. At left, a man in orange bends forward beside a white marble statue and a brass lamp. Grey temple pillars with carved detail frame the scene.

Outdoor temple courtyard scene at a large black stone lingam on a yoni-shaped pedestal, with water pouring over it during abhishekam. A man with long dark hair and an orange garment bends forward with folded hands beside the lingam. Behind him a young woman in orange holds a brass vessel, and an orange-robed sadhu with shaved head stands at right with a kalasha-like brass pot. A prostrate devotee in white lies on the wet stone floor in front, with a few other people in orange and white watching nearby. A dark wall board with white lettering and a red curtain hang behind the pillars. Long dark hair and the orange robes are visible, though no identification is made from appearance.

Photograph of an abhishekam at a temple shrine. Two men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas stand at a large dark stone lingam-style abhishekam basin. The man at right pours water from a metal pot over the stone, and the other man beside him holds a brass vessel. A brass oil lamp stands at right beside pink and green draped cloth and marigold garlands. In the background, two men in white dhotis and shirts stand with palms pressed together beside a black board listing names under the heading Dhyanapeetam and Ananda Sabha. A golden peetha stand sits in the foreground, and water splashes across the wet floor.

A woman in an orange-red sari with a gold-bead border pours water from a silver vessel over a dark stone Shivalinga, with a pink flower placed on the yoni base and water spraying around it. Below, a man in orange clothing with a gold-bead necklace and rudraksha-style beads sits with folded hands near the linga, and a red-robed figure and another devotee appear at the top edge. The background is dark.

Photograph of a temple abhishekam at a black stone shivalinga on a yoni-shaped peetha. A priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala pours water from a brass kalasha over the linga, water streaming down the stone. Behind him a second man in white stands near the linga. On the right, a large deity murti is draped in a gold-bordered red silk garment and garlanded with white and red flowers. A small brass or stone object sits on a low stand at left beside wet ground, and a wall with a printed sign is visible at left.
