Photograph of a temple abhishekam at a black stone shivalinga on a yoni-shaped peetha. A priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala pours water from a brass kalasha over the linga, water streaming down the stone. Behind him a second man in white stands near the linga. On the right, a large deity murti is draped in a gold-bordered red silk garment and garlanded with white and red flowers. A small brass or stone object sits on a low stand at left beside wet ground, and a wall with a printed sign is visible at left.

A temple abhishekam at night: a man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl pours water from a brass vessel over a tall dark stone shivalinga on a stepped stone yoni-peetha base. Behind him, a younger man in white clothes with an orange sash and a rudraksha-style mala holds a small brass pot and watches the ritual. On the right, a large seated deity murti in a maroon and gold draped cloth receives the flowing water, with white streams running down the stone. Small golden lamp stands and a golden figure sit at left, scattered yellow and red flower petals lie on the wet floor, and a few other people in white stand in the background.

A photo of an abhishekam at a Shiva lingam, with water poured over the dark stone lingam from a silver vessel. A hand holding the silver pot pours water from the upper left, and splashes spray around the lingam. Behind it, a shaven-headed priest in orange-red robes and a rudraksha mala holds another silver vessel. The lingam stands on a black stone base, framed by long garlands of yellow, pink, purple and white flowers. A partially visible white-clad figure appears at the right edge.

A photograph of an abhishekam at a temple shrine. A priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a white tripundra on his forehead, pours water from a golden kalasha over a tall stone shivalingam set on a layered stone yoni-peetha base. Water splashes and runs down the base. Behind him a man in white dhoti kneels near the lingam, and a deity murti in a maroon garment with gold border and red trim sits to the right. The stone walls are carved and the scene is lit at night.

Two men in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stand at a black stone Shiva lingam on a lotus-shaped black stone yoni pedestal, pouring water from silver vessels during abhishekam. One wears a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, the other a cord necklace. A brass oil lamp with a tall stand, flower garlands in orange and yellow, and green and pink cloth drapes sit beside the lingam. A corrugated roof and a water tank appear behind, with a small silver pyramid-shaped object in the foreground. Water runs down the pedestal.

A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead pours water from a brass kalasha over a black stone shivalinga on a stepped peetha inside a temple. He wears an orange-saffron robe and a long necklace of rudraksha beads and gold ornaments, which marks him as a probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long hair, ornate gold and rudraksha adornment, saffron clothing). Water splashes over the linga, which is the abhishekam ritual. Behind him, other saffron-clad people stand near the linga, and a figure in a red sari sits at the right. Flower garlands in red, yellow and purple hang above, and a red-and-gold silk cloth drapes the deity area. At left, a man in orange bends forward beside a white marble statue and a brass lamp. Grey temple pillars with carved detail frame the scene.

A brass oil lamp stands at right beside pink and green draped cloth and marigold garlands. In the background, two men in white dhotis and shirts stand with palms pressed together beside a black board listing names under the heading Dhyanapeetam and Ananda Sabha. A golden peetha stand sits in the foreground, and water splashes across the wet floor.
