Photo 11731263February 07 20132013-02-07A crowded temple scene during a consecration event, with marigold garlands and mango-leaf toran decorations hanging overhead. Several men in white dhotis and shirts, some with shawls, gather closely around a central figure in a red cloth seated on a gold-cushioned platform. A bare-chested priest in a white cloth stands behind the garlands. Men in saffron robes and a woman in a green sari with gold jewellery are in the foreground, and a cameraman with a video camera and a person holding a compact camera are at the right edge. The central figure has a shaved head and white beard, and wears a red shawl and rudraksha-style beads, with no distinctive long hair, crown or saffron-ornate cues strong enough to confirm the event a person, so identity is unsure.2008-02-18November 29 20132013-11-29 +1 copiesJanuary 12 20072007-01-12February 18 20082008-02-18February 14 20132013-02-14February 12 20132013-02-12A large audience fills a wood-panelled hall, seen from behind, seated on floor cushions facing a raised wooden throne-style chair. On the chair sits a figure with long dark hair, bare-chested with an orange-saffron shawl draped across the body and adornments, holding a tall silver trident beside the seat. A man in a grey shirt stands at left holding a microphone and speaking to the room. Devotees in white, saffron, purple and green clothing sit in rows, many wearing garlands, and some people stand along the back wall. Probable Swamiji (probable) appears in this photo, seated on the throne holding a trident, with the saffron shawl and long hair as visible cues. The scene resembles a question-and-answer session.2015-12-15September 11 20152015-09-11 +1 copiesOctober 06 20062006-10-06 +1 copiesNight outdoor event with a large crowd of many dozens of people standing and seated under bright lamps. On the right, a figure in orange robes and an orange turban with a beaded necklace stands on a raised white-draped platform, reaching toward an elderly woman in a pink-and-purple sari who is bowing with folded hands beside a pile of flowers. Nearby, a young woman in an orange shawl and a woman in a white sari stand watching. On the left, men in white kurta-style clothes with orange sashes stand near the stage. An orange canopy with hanging coconut bunches and banana trunks decorates the stage, and a second white-clad attendant stands at the top right.2005-11-16
