A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange robe, with a rudraksha mala and a wrist band of flowers, stands with palms pressed together in namaskar at the centre, facing a bare-chested priest in white dhoti who is offering a garland. Around them are men in white ritual dhotis and green shawls, and women in saris of green, yellow and pink, some holding handbags and bowing or folding hands. A devotee at the lower left wears a brown shirt. The floor is a black and white checkered tile.2009-01-07A crowded outdoor street scene in Tiruvannamalai during a procession, with a decorated ratha or palanquin at the left edge covered in yellow and orange marigold garlands. In the centre, a long-haired figure in an orange sleeveless top wears a fresh green leafy garland and a white-and-yellow flower garland, facing away from the camera and holding a flower garland up to the ratha. Nearby, shaven-headed men in white dhotis and white shirts, some with rudraksha malas, stand around; one bare-chested man with a red mala holds a plate of fruit and flowers, and another holds a phone camera. A man in a white shirt holds a tray of fruit, and onlookers stand in the background among trees and a small building. The scene is a temple-related procession with garlanded offerings and fruit.2011-01-16February 18 20082008-02-18June 12 20042004-06-12February 17 20082008-02-17July 28 20082008-07-28Indoor photograph of a healing and blessing session in a hall with white plastic chairs, a standing fan, a black speaker and red curtains. Around them, a woman in white, women in red and dark sari blouses, and a shaved-headed young man in orange sit close. Behind, a bald man in white with an orange shawl stands near a table with booklets, brass items and sweets. A plain white cloth covers the nearby table.2008-03-27
