A framed portrait of a seated man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, hands in a teaching mudra, in front of a tree, is garlanded with red and yellow flowers and labelled in Tamil script. Below it, a white-draped seat holds an orange cloth bundle and a peacock feather. In front, two men in white clothes sit cross-legged over a spread of pink and red flowers, brass vessels, a conch, a coconut, bananas and sweets. The man on the right wears glasses, a rudraksha mala and a red forehead mark, and holds flowers in his hands. The man on the left leans forward over the offerings. Three people are visible in total.Photo 117168412018-04-29April 17 20172017-04-17April 03 20172017-04-03Two men stand facing each other in a temple-like hall, exchanging a small offering across a decorated altar. The man on the left is bare-chested with a white dhoti bordered in gold, wearing rudraksha beads and gold-framed glasses, and he holds a brass plate. The man on the right wears a white short-sleeved shirt and dark trousers and reaches to receive it. Behind them stands a seated figure in orange robes with a rudraksha garland and a red headpiece, positioned before a large painted backdrop of a deity pair seated on a throne with red-and-yellow garlands. A portrait at the left shows a smiling man in orange with a flower garland, labelled with Tamil text. Green leaves, flowers and a brass lamp sit on a blue cloth with gold trim on the altar.March 17 20182018-03-17A photograph of a Hindu fire ritual on a ground floor with straw and leaves spread out. A man in an orange-saffron robe with a red rudraksha mala sits cross-legged at the right, holding a ladle and a folded white cloth, and pours from a ladle into a fire pit. Beside him a shaved-headed man in a white dhoti sits with his hands joined. A bare-chested man with white beaded necklaces sits at the left, and a man in a checked shirt and white clothes stands behind, handing over a vessel. Offerings on a tray include bananas, a coconut and flowers, and pink garlands hang in the foreground. Stone blocks and a dark pit edged in orange and white lie at the lower left.2000-11-07April 29 20182018-04-29April 17 20172017-04-17August 17 20122012-08-17
