A photograph in a temple-style hall with a decorated shrine behind. A man in a white shirt with a red forehead mark holds a folded white paper and looks at it while speaking with a second man. The second man wears an orange-brown saffron wrap, long layered gold-coloured necklaces with a large ornate pendant, gold armlets and bangles, a red bindi, and has long swept-back dark hair; he appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on the long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces and saffron clothing. A bearded man in a light patterned shirt stands behind, and a man in white dhoti with a sash stands at right. Flowers and gold decorations fill the shrine.2013-07-01A photograph of a ceremonial blessing at a temple-style hall. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a long gold-and-bead garland and gold armbands stands at center, holding a small white paper in one hand while placing the other palm on the head of a bowed man in a white shirt. Two people with folded hands stand to the left, and a shaved-headed priest in white robes with a white forehead mark stands behind on the right. Behind them is a gilded throne and a painted backdrop with a deity figure and ornate pillars. The central figure has long swept-back hair, a tilak on the forehead, rudraksha-style beads and a ceremonial gold necklace, which are cues consistent with the page's identification; the appearance is only a probable match for a person.2013-06-26July 01 20132013-07-01A photograph of a ritual exchange in a temple-like hall. A man in a saffron-orange wrap and bare-armed, with a bindi, wears long heavy gold necklaces of bead-like links and gold armlets; he raises one palm toward a devotee while extending the other hand over a small paper offering held by a bespectacled man in a white shirt. Other devotees in white clothes stand nearby with hands folded, and a gold-coloured backdrop and red drapery fill the background. The orange-robed figure with ornate gold adornments and a distinctive presentation is a person candidate, but the identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2013-05-24A photograph of a ceremony in a temple-style hall. A bare-chested man in an orange-saffron shawl and multiple gold necklaces with a gold armlet stands at right, holding a sheet of white paper and placing his right hand on the head of a seated man in a white-and-blue checked shirt at left. Two others stand behind with hands clasped in devotion: a man in a white kurta and a man in a white shirt. Behind them is a gold-decorated throne with a red cushion, gold lamps and brass kalasha-style vessels, and a gilded deity murti at upper right. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron shawl, ornate gold necklaces and armlet, shown in the blessing role.2013-06-26January 31 20132013-01-31A photograph of a man with a shaved-looking short dark hairstyle, saffron-orange cloth draped over his shoulders, a gold-and-bead necklace with gold beads and a thick red flower garland, and a red tilak on his forehead, smiling as he reads a folded white paper. Several men with folded hands stand in a line before him, one in a brown shirt and others in white and checked shirts, with a row of people behind them. At the right edge a robed attendant in orange holds a tray of red fruit and ritual objects. Swamiji (probable): the central figure has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, gold ornaments and a flower garland, and he receives devotees.2013-05-16Photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes with a long gold-bead necklace and gold bangle, standing at a hall event and reaching out with a sheet of white paper in his hand. Several people with palms pressed together in namaste face him, including an older bald man in white and a man in a black shirt at left. A video camera operator is at lower right. Behind them is a stage backdrop with green, red and yellow panels. Swamiji (probable): the man wears long swept-back dark hair, saffron robes, rudraksha-style gold bead necklace and gold earrings, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference.2013-05-15A photograph of a bare-shouldered man with long, swept-back black hair wearing a rust-red wrap and a double-strand necklace of large gold beads with orange beaded strands. He has a white horizontal forehead mark with a red dot and small gold earrings, and he looks down while handling a folded white cloth with both hands. A man on the left wearing white reaches toward him. Behind them, a gilded golden throne-like seat with a red cushion stands on a stage, with a tripod-mounted camera and a few seated people in the background.2013-04-13April 25 20132013-04-25A photograph of an indoor hall event with a stage backdrop of dark maroon curtains and a projection screen at left. A man in a white shirt with a red shawl and a bracelet holds up a handwritten paper to a man in a saffron-orange dhoti with gold waistband and a heavy gold-bead necklace over an orange cloth, who is reading it with bare upper body and white sandalwood forehead marks. At right, a man in white garments with a rudraksha mala holds a silver tray. Two golden deity murti shrines with floral decorations stand on the stage, and a partially visible person is at far left with hands in anjali. The mood is a devotional exchange of a written petition or note.2013-04-22October 11 20132013-10-11
