A seated figure in an orange-brown garment with a long orange-brown rudraksha-style mala and long dark hair extends a bare arm to place a hand on the head of a young boy kneeling before him with palms pressed together. The figure sits on a red cushioned seat. Behind them, a shaved-headed man with white tilak marks and orange cloth stands, and several boys in white t-shirts and blue lanyards lean in with hands together. A woman in a patterned top stands at the right edge. The setting appears to be an indoor hall during a blessing or initiation moment.2013-05-14July 10 20132013-07-10A photograph of a young man in a white kurta standing with bowed head while a bearded figure with long dreadlocked hair, a bare upper torso and a pink-and-white flower garland over an orange-brown shawl places a hand on his forehead. A blue bowl is held in the lower foreground. Behind them, several young men in white clothes stand near a copper pole against a deep red curtain, and a girl in a patterned blouse is at the left edge. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment. Appearance is uncertain, so this is treated as a candidate only.2017-04-02Photograph of a shaved-headed devotee in a white kurta with a blue lanyard and name badge having his forehead touched by a person in an orange-saffron shawl and gold-bead necklace with green stones, who has long dark hair and gold hoop earrings. Behind them stand red draped curtains, a person in a green t-shirt with a lanyard, and a person in white clothes. The blessing gesture of a hand placed on the forehead suggests darshan. The person in orange has long swept-back hair, a gold ceremonial necklace, and an orange shawl, cues matching the Swamiji (probable) description, shown in the act of blessing a devotee.2012-08-21 +1 copiesA seated figure in white draped clothing with long, swept-back dark hair and a gold necklace places his hand on the head of a young boy in a yellow and navy sports shirt wearing a dark beaded mala. The boy kneels with his hands together while seated devotees in white look on. In front are an orange folded towel on a red cushion and a silver tray of gold-wrapped sweets and an apple. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair and a gold necklace, and the wider scene shows a meditation or blessing gathering.2010-12-21October 09 20122012-10-09July 10 20132013-07-10A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange cloth wrap with a long red and yellow flower garland around his neck and dark hair swept back. He rests one hand on the head of a young boy in a white polo shirt with red trim and a rudraksha mala, who bows forward. Behind them a woman in a green and gold sari with beaded necklaces watches, and a girl in purple sits at the right. Trays of sweets and packets sit in front, and a red curtain and white walls form the room. Appearance-based label: a person, giving blessing to a child.2013-05-28A photograph of a long-haired, bare-chested man in a yellow-bordered cloth and a shawl-free torso pressing his right palm to the forehead of a young boy in white kurta with a rudraksha mala, who stands with hands folded in prayer and eyes closed. Behind them, men in white clothes, one in an orange shawl, and a man with an identity badge watch, while one person raises a small camera. The setting appears to be a blessing or initiation moment at a gathering. Swamiji (probable): the bare-chested long-haired man with a swept-back mane, yellow cloth and rudraksha-adorned presence, performing the blessing, which fits the page's note of Swamiji at the Salem convention.2006-07-30A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron wrap and rudraksha malas pressing his right palm onto the forehead of a young boy in a dark striped polo shirt, who stands with hands folded in anjali. The man smiles; both wear rudraksha beads, and the boy also wears a pendant. Behind them, people in orange, yellow and white clothing move in a crowded hall with red drapes on the left. A green light glows in the background. Visible people include the two main figures and several others partly in view, so the count is in the 6-20 range.2012-07-18May 14 20132013-05-14July 06 20142014-07-06
