Outdoor photo of a flag-hoisting ceremony beneath tall coconut palms. A bare-chested man with a shaved head and rudraksha mala on the left looks up toward a white flagpole. Beside him, a man in a red turban and orange-red garment, with white flower garlands and a rudraksha mala, raises his arms and pulls a rope. A red and multicoloured ceremonial umbrella with tassels hangs near the pole, with an orange and yellow decorative cloth below it. A saffron flag flutters at the top of the pole, and a string of white and orange printed banners strung between the palms carries a small portrait image. Several men with shaved heads and garlands watch and raise their hands in the crowd at the lower right.
