Photograph inside a stone temple corridor with carved pillars and sculpted panels, the floor a worn reddish stone. A uniformed police officer in khaki with a peaked cap walks forward at centre, with other uniformed officers behind him. On the left a man in white shirt and white dhoti wears a mala, and beside him an older man in white dhoti and shirt walks barefoot. On the right a man in white kurta and dhoti gestures with his arm. A figure in an orange-saffron robe walks near the centre-left, appearing to be a sannyasi, with his head shaved. Several other men in white shirts and plaid clothing are visible in the background, along with a sign reading in Tamil at the top. Appearance-based candidate in the saffron robe is uncertain.
