A large old banyan tree with thick, grey, tangled aerial roots wrapping a trunk and forming an arched opening at its base. Inside the dark hollow beneath the roots, a single small oil lamp flame glows, and a few yellow flower petals lie on the red earth in front of a low stone threshold. Sunlight flares at the upper left edge while green leaves hang from branches above. No people are visible in the scene.
