A photograph taken indoors in a plain cream-walled room with a window grille and curtains. A priest in white dhoti and an orange shawl holds a brass lamp with a large flame and smoke rising, while a second man in orange and white holds a small bell or lamp handle. A man in a white shirt with a vertical tilak on his forehead and a woman in a blue sari with hands joined in namaskar watch and smile; another woman in a yellow sari stands behind.
