Photograph of an indoor ceremonial blessing in a room with beige wall panels. A man in a white shirt with an orange-and-white lanyard stands at left, palms raised, while a man on the right with long dark hair in a low bun, white vibhuti stripes on his forehead, and a deep red-orange robe with a brown rudraksha mala places his raised hand on the first man's forehead. A framed portrait in orange robes sits behind, and a golden lion-head object is near the right edge.2013-12-13A photograph of two men in a hall with beige wall panels. On the left, a bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, white and red forehead markings, a maroon wrap with gold trim, and layered silver-beaded bracelets and a long beaded necklace, extends his right arm and hand to touch the forehead of a man on the right. That man, with short dark hair and a moustache, wears a white short-sleeved collared shirt and stands with his palm raised. A golden lion-head sculpture and a dark speaker stand behind them, and a partly visible person appears at the right edge. The gesture suggests a blessing given in a satsang setting. The left figure matches Swamiji (probable) by long swept-back hair, bare chest, maroon wrap, beaded necklace and bracelets.2013-12-05March 09 20142014-03-09A seated figure in a rust-red saffron-toned garment with gold trim places one hand on the forehead of a young man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala at his neck. The young man stands with eyes closed and palms pressed together in namaste, receiving a blessing. The seated figure has long dark hair pulled back and a gold-embroidered garment, and a gold throne-like seat is visible at lower left. The setting is a plain beige-panelled hall with a wooden pillar and white curtain at right. A partial figure in white sits in the background at right.2013-12-03A photograph of a ritual blessing. A bare-chested man in an orange-and-gold shawl, with a red tilak on his forehead, a short topknot, gold beaded necklaces and a gold bangle, stands at right placing his right hand on the head of a shaven-headed man in a white shirt at left, whose hands are pressed together in a gesture of receiving. A deep maroon curtain hangs behind them and a gold-coloured vessel is visible at lower centre. Their faces suggest a devotee receiving blessing from a priest.2012-02-09December 13 20132013-12-13February 09 20122012-02-09December 05 20132013-12-05A photograph of a blessing exchange indoors. A man with long dark hair in a bun, bare-shouldered in a rust-brown cloth with a gold ceremonial necklace of beads, presses his right palm to the forehead of a shorter, grey-haired man in a white kurta with a red and white beaded mala around his neck. A woman in white sits blurred in the lower right, and a pale curtain and dark wall form the background. The gesture resembles a padapuja-style blessing, with the standing figure giving the blessing and the other receiving it.
