Swamiji (probable) is the figure seated on the throne, identified by long swept-back hair, flower garlands and white-and-gold ceremonial clothing; a devotee in a white shirt and dhoti bows and touches his head to the seated figure's hand while holding garlands. Behind them a monk in saffron robes with a beaded necklace stands, and a crowd of women in saris and onlookers watch under a pink and white canopy with marigold garlands.2009-01-01January 01 20092009-01-01July 15 20112011-07-15January 01 20092009-01-01January 01 20092009-01-01Outdoor festival scene under a tent with red, white and pink drapes and a metal truss. A young man seated on a throne-like seat with a carved golden crown, white and red floral garlands and a gold-embroidered garment receives attention; a silver-coloured stand with marigold and rose petals sits before him, and a carved wooden bull statue with flower garlands is on the right. A woman in white with an orange sash kneels and offers flowers at the stand, while another woman in white with a red rudraksha mala kneels at the base. Behind them, devotees in white and orange saffron clothes, some wearing rudraksha malas, stand on a red carpet. A man in white with glasses holds a brass plate, and a young man in white with a rudraksha mala holds a silver dish. The seated figure is a probable match to a person, based on the crown, garlands and ornate garment, though the face is not clearly visible.2005-01-01
