A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a heavy gold bead necklace and a red vibhuti or kumkum mark on the forehead, sits on an ornate orange-draped golden throne with gold fittings and a cushion at his feet decorated with yellow marigold garlands. A man in white kurta and dhoti kneels before him, bowing his head while the seated figure places a hand on his head in blessing. Behind them stand two older men in white, one wearing a white and red floral garland, the other wearing a blue rosette badge and white garland. A pink-draped statue and gold pillars with red and yellow flower garlands surround the setting. The seated figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on the long swept-back hair, saffron robes, gold necklace and throne presentation.2010-07-24July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange sleeveless robes with long swept-back black hair, a white tilak and red bindi on his forehead, seated on an ornate gold-carved throne with red-striped cushions against a green wall. He raises his right hand toward the head of a man in white kurta and dhoti who bows forward with his head lowered. A third man in an orange-trimmed white garment stands at left, and another person in patterned clothing stands at the right edge. Green-leaved white floral decorations hang at the top left. The seated figure matches the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues of long swept-back hair and saffron robes, presiding in the role of a teacher giving blessings to a devotee.2010-08-08A photograph of a ceremony on a raised stage before dark red velvet drapes. A long-haired figure in a sleeveless orange robe sits on a red-cushioned golden lion-armed throne and touches the forehead of a man in white shirt and dhoti who kneels with palms pressed together. Behind the throne, a man in orange stands holding a silver vessel, and another orange-robed attendant kneels at the lower right near the throne's golden base. Flowers and a golden lion ornament decorate the throne area, and a woman in white sits with folded hands at the left edge.2008-12-25March 15 20082008-03-15February 03 20092009-02-03A photograph of a seated figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair, wearing a thick gold necklace and a white flower garland, with a hand raised on the head of a man in a white shirt who bows with palms pressed together. A standing older man in white shirt and white dhoti, with a rudraksha mala and wristwatch, watches with palms joined. The backdrop is covered in white jasmine-like flowers and red blossoms. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable) for the seated figure in orange robe, long hair, gold necklace and garland, a ceremonial blessing role.2006-09-17July 07 20092009-07-07January 03 20092009-01-03October 21 20062006-10-21 +1 copiesJuly 06 20102010-07-06May 17 20132013-05-17
