A woman in a red-and-gold headwrap and red-striped sari, adorned with a white jasmine garland and gold earrings, smiles and raises her arm beside a priest in an orange-red dhoti and shawl. Behind them, devotees in white and in gold-bordered cloth gather around a wooden palanquin draped with white flower garlands.
