Photograph of children playing a game in a dirt courtyard marked with white chalk or paint lines, in front of a long whitewashed building with red-framed windows and a corrugated metal roof. Several boys in white and light clothing crouch, stand and run across the ground, while others in white shirts and shorts watch from the shaded porch on the right under a clear blue sky. A small tree stands behind the building and a stack of timber lies at the left edge.

In the foreground a boy in a maroon-and-grey checked shirt and grey trousers runs past, and a boy in a green shirt and grey trousers in the centre reaches his arms out. Other boys in white kurtas and shirts sit or crouch at the edges, and a few stand near a veranda with potted plants and wooden shutters. Nobody in the scene is identifiable as the swami, and the setting suggests a school or ashram compound.2007-12-24
