Outdoor scene in a dusty courtyard in front of a white building with a corrugated metal awning and red trim. Several boys in white dhotis and white shirts or orange-sashed white clothing are practising martial-arts style kicks and stances on the sandy ground. Behind them, a row of children in white and a few adults stand on the veranda steps watching. One figure near the centre wears a white garment with an orange sash. A small child in a white shirt and dark shorts stands at left beside a red bucket. The sky is clear blue.
