In the foreground, a boy in a white-and-blue striped shirt and khaki trousers runs toward the camera, and a boy in a red-and-navy striped polo and khaki trousers runs beside him, both following a chalk line on the ground. Seated spectators in white clothing are gathered under the trees in the background, and a cream-coloured multi-storey building stands at the right edge.
