A golden deity murti of Durga or Mariamman is being bathed in an abhishekam, with a yellow liquid poured over its head from a vessel held by a person whose orange-clad arm enters from the upper left. The murti has four arms, holding a sword and a trident, with a crown, large earrings and a red-and-gold necklace over a white cloth. Behind it is an ornate golden lattice with pink-glass cutouts, and a rudraksha mala hangs at the left edge. A caption reads 'Durga and Mariamman Abhishekam, Nithyanandotsavam Purvanga Utsavam - Day 1'.
