A brass or gilded metal murti of a multi-armed goddess stands on a pedestal, draped with a white cloth wrapped around her torso and a striped green-and-maroon cloth at the waist. She holds weapons in many hands, including a trident and a shield, and a lion-like mount sits beneath her. Behind her is a golden latticed screen with quatrefoil cutouts. A caption at the bottom reads Durga and Mariamman Abhishekam, Nithyanandotsavam Purvanga Utsavam - Day 1, indicating an abhishekam ritual on the murti.
