A man in orange saffron robes and a rudraksha-style gold bead necklace holds a silver multi-tiered lamp stand aloft with both hands. The tiered brass aarti lamp has many lit oil lamps on each of its six or more levels, flames rising brightly. He wears thin-framed glasses and a small red tilak on his forehead, gazing upward at the flames. Behind him is a plain pale wall, a metal stand, and a small screen showing colourful images. The scene suggests an aarti ritual being performed indoors.2011-12-03A photograph of a man in a dim hall performing aarti with a tiered brass oil lamp (deepa) holding many lit flames. He is bald, wears a saffron-orange robe over his shoulder, has a tilak on his forehead and wears glasses. He stands in profile on the right, holding the lamp's curved handle with both hands. A dark curtain and a wall-mounted speaker are behind him, and a white cylindrical stand sits at left. Person's presentation is shaved-headed priest in orange robes, lacking distinctive a person cues, so identity uncertain.2011-12-13November 21 20112011-11-21December 12 20112011-12-12December 28 20112011-12-28A monastic man in saffron/orange robes and a bald head, wearing glasses and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, holds up a tall silver multi-tiered aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps.
