Night photograph taken from above of a decorated outdoor shrine beside dark water. A deity murti stands under a large arch of multicoloured garlands in yellow, purple, red and white, with a round canopy above. Men in white dhotis perform worship at the base, one holding a lamp and another a drum at right. Several women in orange and rust-coloured saris, one with a white shawl, stand in a row on stone steps with hands folded in prayer. Children in light clothing stand at the right edge. The scene suggests an evening puja or aarti.
