A man in an orange saffron robe with a long gold-and-beaded necklace and a sannyasi's look holds a silver tray of fruit, coconut and offerings toward devotees, while a long-haired figure in an orange garment and gold-bead necklace reaches out to take an offering. Around them devotees in white shirts and white dhotis, some with orange or yellow shawls and rudraksha malas, press close, and a woman in white sari stands at right. The man in orange with the tray has distinctive long swept-back hair and saffron-and-gold adornments, consistent with a person presence, though appearance is not fully certain; the figure with long hair in orange is likewise a devotee-role figure. Scene reflects a Brahmotsava offering or prasad distribution, with fruit, coconut and banana visible on the trays.2008-12-23Outdoor devotional gathering beneath a large spreading banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. Around a brass lamp and metal vessels, several people in white dhotis and white shirts kneel and stand, while women in white and cream saris and one in an orange-bordered sari gather nearby.
