Close photograph of a gold-coloured metal deity murti being bathed with a flowing stream of yellow liquid. The figure wears a crown, earrings, a pendant necklace, armbands and a deep maroon dhoti-style garment, with a green patterned cloth below. A golden shawl-like cloth hangs from the poured stream. A rudraksha bracelet is visible on a human wrist at the upper right, though the person is only partially in frame. The scene reads as an abhishekam in progress.

A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a gilded deity murti standing under an ornate golden arch. A person's hand, wearing gold bangles and a thin bracelet and draped in a red-and-maroon sari, pours a liquid from a silver vessel over the statue. The murti wears a yellow-gold skirt and a draped shawl, and holds a small cup-shaped object in one hand, and the golden liquid streams down its body. Droplets spray in the air. No visible face of a person candidate is present, and the pouring person's face is not visible.2011-11-01A photograph of a standing statue of a man with short hair and a bare chest, draped in a dhoti-style cloth and raising one hand in blessing, being anointed with thick golden-yellow liquid poured from a metal vessel. A person in an orange robe and a gold bangle pours the liquid over the statue's head, and yellow droplets splash through the air. The statue is a depiction, not a physical person present, and the scene appears to be a ritual abhishekam. No readable event name is visible in the image itself.2010-12-19 +1 copiesClose photo of a golden deity murti with an ornate crown, orange shawl and gold armlets, being bathed by a priest pouring liquid from a silver vessel with engraved scrollwork. Two hands in a silver-rimmed bowl and an ornate silver vessel pour the paste over the figure, which wears a tall crown and a flowing garment. Another coated figure with a draped orange cloth is partly visible at the left edge. A red backdrop and carved stone wall sit behind, and bangles are visible on the pouring wrist. This appears to be an abhishekam with turmeric paste.2011-10-07December 28 20112011-12-28July 21 20102010-07-21December 28 20112011-12-28Close photo of a small gilt metal deity murti being bathed with yellow liquid poured from a vessel held by a hand at top left. The murti, with a tall crown and four arms, holds a sword and a mace-like staff and is draped in a red cloth that is wet with the liquid. Behind it is a large orange cloth with red and gold border, and a gold-edged base sits below. Only a forearm and hand of an unseen person are visible, so no physical people are clearly shown beyond the hand. This appears to be an abhishekam ritual being performed on the deity.2010-07-21A golden deity murti with a tall crown and orange shawl is being bathed with yellow liquid poured from a silver vessel held by a person in white at the left edge. The liquid streams over the crown, face and shoulders, and droplets spray through the air. Ornate gold carved architecture surrounds the murti. The murti is a statue, not a person, so no physical people are counted beyond the pourer's arm and hands.2011-12-28March 04 20192019-03-04December 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copies
