A red thread is tied on his wrist. Around him lie metal tools, a hammered copper bowl, stacked copper pots and wooden crates, and a concrete block wall stands behind. No a person candidate is visible; the scene shows metal casting and craft work at a sacred arts setting.2006-12-10 +1 copiesA photograph inside a bare, unfinished concrete-block workshop. A man in a white full-sleeve shirt and white dhoti sits cross-legged on a woven mat, working with a small tool on a flat sheet of gold-coloured metal laid on the floor. Beside him is a silver-toned ornate pedestal or stand with turned legs and a tiered top, a curved carved wooden or gilded arch piece lies on the left, and a wooden block sits near the front. A floor fan, plastic bottles and papers are along the window ledge behind. A person's shoulder is partly visible at the right edge.2006-11-20June 28 20132013-06-28September 22 20092009-09-22A man in a checked collared shirt and white lungi crouches on a concrete floor, hammering a repoussé design into a sheet of orange-and-brown patinated copper. A wooden-handled chisel or punch rests against the metal, and scattered nails, metal curls and wood shavings lie around him. The embossed relief shows a face with bulging eyes, possibly a deity or mask motif. The scene looks like a metal craft workshop.2006-12-10 +1 copiesJuly 25 20072007-07-25July 20 20092009-07-20September 22 20092009-09-22 +1 copies
