A man in orange-saffron robes with an ornate gold necklace, bead garlands and a long swept-back hairstyle, with a white tripundra mark on his forehead, places his right hand on the head of a man in a tan-brown kurta who has his palms pressed together in respect. The blessing giver holds a folded white paper in his left hand. A man in a white shirt stands at left, and a man in dark clothing is behind. Multicoloured hanging decorations and a stage screen are in the background. Appearance-based cues suggest a person as the figure in saffron robes giving the blessing, though this is uncertain.2013-02-03A ceremonial blessing line inside a decorated hall with a draped white and grey ceiling canopy and colourful striped pillars. A priest in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth, a white-and-gold shawl, a gold necklace and a white tilak on his forehead presses his palm onto the head of a standing devotee, holding a small folded paper in his other hand. Beside him, a bald man in an orange-saffron robe holds a brass plate with offerings, and another white-clad attendant holds a tray of flower garlands. Men in white shirts and lungis stand in a row with hands clasped or folded, and a few more people in colourful clothes wait behind. Projection screens hang on the walls behind the group. No identifiable a person figure is clearly distinguishable from appearance alone.2011-03-05 +1 copiesMarch 17 20132013-03-17April 07 20132013-04-07March 23 20132013-03-23
